Dan was very knowledgeable and worked hard finding out problem. He said to call him tomorrow if the temp doesn’t get down to what’s it’s set at 78.
Dan was very knowledgeable about my A/C and suggested I purchase a new unit.
We were told that the unit would definitely fit the installation area but that was not so. The team did a lot of damage to our attic access and put a big gouge in the metal door leading to the garage. Not too happy right now. Hyde’s service is usually better than this . Disappointed. At least they scheduled the appointment on a timely basis.
Alex was here as promised, diagnosed and fixed the issue quickly. We are back in comfort! Thank you!
Technician came out on the same day we called. Immediately identified the problem. Made specific repairs. Nice and cool for now.
Luis did a great job installing a mini split A/C and heating unit. Only took about an hour to have it up and running. Couldn’t ask for better service
Response from Hydes Air Conditioning:
Thank you Carol...our installers have decades of experience and I am so glad it shows :)
Christopher was very professional and explained everything where I understood, thank you Christopher
Client stated system not cooling. Stated would get into the 90s. System at 83 and set to 78. Checked refrigerant levels. Found low subcool and superheat. Found system uses piston. Found blower motor only running at medium speed. Increase blower to high speed. Advised client system should be cooling better now. System has 17 degree split on this humid day.
Performed annual maintenance on a 4 ton 2021 American standard platinum series. Changed out filter 20x20 no ladder needed. Followed sequence of operations checked amperage, Freon levels, and if alerts were found on system. 1050 checked operational. Cleared condensation line to drain properly and washed down condenser coils throughly. System is properly cooling at this time of service.
Client states system is cooling but is not reaching 78 stuck at 81 client prefer Danny,,,,,,Danny is scheduled to go tomorrow
Got all paperwork signed and dropped off filter
Upon arrival serial # 5631 blower working condenser wasn’t after further inspection found seized fan motor replace motor and tested
check unit cooling properly temp split 22 would follow up with management on Tuesday
The work performed involved the installation of an American Standard 4-ton condenser along with a Coleman down-flow furnace system. This project was carefully executed to ensure both optimal performance and customer satisfaction.
Upon arrival client stated they have been having issues with refrigerant in the last six months. Found system iced up and low on refrigerant. Went over leak process and replacement options. Sent over estimate. Advised on zero percent financing for 18 months. Advised will have office call to go over financing.
I Performed Maintenance on the Cooling System. Also replaced a 20x25 filter and flushed the condensate drain. The system is a 2012 Goodman model located on the ground. Prior tech was out yesterday for a noise call, prior tech recorded on video the noise of the condenser fan motor. From listening to recording and hearing the noise, it appears like the bearings are going bad on the motor. Previous Tech recommended replacement of the condenser fan motor in August 2024 due to age. Sent estimate for replacement of motor and client to advise. The system checked out operational and within manufactures specifications at the time of the service.
Upon arrival found system on idle thermostat was set to 76 and indoor temperature was 76°, cycled equipment, verified proper voltage, verified start, and run capacitors operating properly, FLA RLA LRA all within range refrigerant levels are within specifications System is operating within manufacturers specifications and cooling properly. System is a 2012. Goodman informed client to record issue if issue presents itself to help with further diagnosis if needed Client is going to call in credit card for payment
Living room ductless unit (Pioneer) has water stain line from right corner of indoor head down wall. Found condensation drain backed up. Cleared condensation drain from termination point. Flushed through a gallon of clean water into indoor coil pan and did a few flushes. Now whatever i pour in , drains all out properly. Found very dirty blower wheel. This can lower airflow up to and over 20% which causes cooling issues and can damage motor. Recommended having indoor unit opened up and blower wheel removed and cleaned thoroughly then put back in.
We successfully installed a 5-ton American Standard Gold 17 horizontal split heat pump system. This installation involved a thorough examination of the existing setup to ensure optimal operation and energy efficiency. Our team adhered to industry standards and guidelines throughout the process, ensuring both safety and reliability. Following the completion of the installation, we conducted extensive testing to verify that the system functions as intended and meets the specified performance metrics. We appreciate the opportunity to serve you and remain available for any future assistance.
Upon arrival system was cooling due to age of unit we will be installing 5 ton 17 seer Monday the 25 from 8 to 10
Came to property for overloading kitchen circuit. Explained to customer that a new home run from panel would be needed to correct the issue. Customer stated he did not want to spend the funds on that project. Waived trip charge and minimum diagnostic due to previous issues with electrical department.
Executed a cooling maintenance on a split heat pump system. Replaced filter, cleared condensate drain line and washed condenser coil. Dual run capacitor – good. Checked refrigerant circuit diagnostic. Running and starting amperage measured on condenser fan and compressor motor. Recommend installing equipment surge protection to prevent damage due to power surges. Estimate sent via email. System is cooling the home at the time of maintenance.
